During this stage we continue with numbers and the alphabet
Watch Us Grow
Every child grows and learns new things at his or her own pace. Children may vary by as much as 6 months in some things they can do. If you have any concerns about your child’s development, you should speak with our Director.
Children can point to colors, can match shapes, understand words like ‘biggest’, ‘smallest’, ‘softly’ and ‘loudly’. Can point to self in pictures, can do simple household tasks like wipe the table when asked, can tell you if he/she is happy, sad, or afraid. Can put on socks, unbutton small buttons, unbuckle his/her belt, go to toilet alone, can match some objects, can count to ten, can point to numbers, can speak clearly, will smile and laugh at funny pictures, can play well with others, can lace shoes, can use a fork properly, can run and cut along a line.
Our Vision
Our staff members are trained to be recognized leaders in providing TLC and extraordinary educational programs. We pride ourselves on our distinctive blend of fun and learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
At this stage we will continue to review the alphabet, shapes, colors, and numbers. Give simple homework assignments pertaining to the lessons taught. We will let the children help with wiping the tables, sweeping and cleaning their areas. Do circle time daily and continue to enforce good manners and work habits.
